I completely agree with you! I mean, look at this this way: we’re so awesome that even to be our friend you need a VIP pass. That’s why there are so few but good ones! It totally makes sense! We’re exclusive!

image

We obviously are. No problems there, though! We can sit back, relax, and watch everybody else struggle finding ways to be our friends. Exclusive is exactly how I would describe us. I mean, our friends are lucky to have us, right?

theelizabethharper:

A while, yes. And I have found at least a couple of friends, I think. It’s not much but it’s a start and I’d rather have good and few friends than a full adress list and when I need there’s no one there… What about you?

image

That’s great! A small group of friends who know one another pretty well is much better than a larger one who don’t know a bit about each other. I don’t have very many friends, but that’s alright with me. They just don’t know how freakin’ awesome it is to be friends with me, obviously.

olivia-bevan:

They did! It was on the back of my welcome packet. It’s not much help though-they left out a lot of details. Well that’s a rather troubling thought. I could starve to death by then. Then again, my version of starvation would settle in about an hour into their search. Reading certainly counts! I’m a big reader myself, actually. What do you like to read? Dancing is also an acceptable activity. Bonus points for being a bedroom dancer. I certainly will! Well, I like to draw, but I’m not sure if you’d consider that fun. It can be rather boring at times.

Well, that’s just unfair. Maybe looking at the packet could’ve been useful after all. It would’ve saved me the embarrassment of getting lost every period. Your version of hunger to passing time is very similar to my own. I can see that happening, which could be either great for myself being able to picture something near normal for once or really quite terrible for you. I think it qualifies as both. Hey, a fellow reader. What an abnormal find! I read things that are completely different from others, so if you’re searching for a genre I stick with, you’re out of luck. If I get bonus points from dancing in the vicinity of my room, do I get extra ones for doing Ellen’s Dance Dare? Because that’s one of my favorite activities as well. Hm, drawing. I’m not sure about it being fun for me considering the single reason of having absolutely no artistic talent. You should let me see some of your drawings, and possibly give a nice thought about sharing some talent with a no-life such as myself. That’d be a nice thing.

olivia-bevan:

Don’t worry, I will! Challenging task is a good way to put it. This school is so large I haven’t any idea how someone could map the place out. Hopefully! I’d hate to end up lost somewhere. With the size of this school they might not find me for days! But enough about that, what do you do to keep yourself occupied around here, Hayden? Other than school, I mean.

Wait, are you saying someone mapped the school? Damn, I could have used that a while ago. Oh, days? No, you’re overestimating their searching skills. You wouldn’t be found for at least a week, maybe even a month. There’s not much to do around here, so, really, I don’t do anything. I like to read, though, if that counts. Sometimes I dance alone in my room. If you find anything worth my time, you better let me know! What about you? Anything you’ve found fun in the few days you’ve been here?

theelizabethharper:

3 years? Wow, impressive. I’ve been here for a while, actually. It gets a little boring but one can cope with it by meeting the right people.

image

I’m pretty impressed with myself, too. A while, huh? I suppose you’re right. Some friends can definitely help you keep your cool. Have you found those people yet?

theelizabethharper:

I’m sure you’re just fine! Nice to meet you too, Hayden! I’m Elizabeth but any short name for that is okay with me. Are you new here?

image

Nice to meet you as well, Elizabeth. I’m not new here. Been attending for 3 years, actually. What about yourself?

olivia-bevan:

Oh, so I’m sure you’re already quite aware of how things work around here. Good to know. Don’t be surprised if I come to you begging for directions. I swear, this place is so big I’m going to get impossibly lost. Well I’m glad to hear that.

Not so aware as others are. I don’t pay much attention to certain things. If you ever need directions, feel free to ask me! I do know my way around easily. In fact, I’m quite proud of myself to accomplish such a challenging task such as knowing my way around. You’ll get the hang of it soon enough.

Can’t promise that I’m any more interesting than the next guy, but hi! I don’t believe we’ve met yet. I’m Hayden.

i’m going to be gone the majority of the day because my sister’s getting married and apparently weddings are long. i’ll be on when i can.

Yeah, it’s hard. That’s why I don’t do it.

I might have to take your initiative and stay in bed. But, you know, I’m already up and food is calling my name. However hard it is to actually get up, it’s much harder to ignore that food.
